Semi-Private Lessons

Semi-private lessons are a powerful training format designed to maximize individual progress in a small group setting. Each session consists of 2 to 6 fencers, and the coach works exclusively with this group for the full hour — no distractions, no outside students.

These focused lessons follow the 7 Key Lesson Principles, which guide every session:
1. Conditioning development
2. Footwork improvement
3. Technical work on blade actions and accuracy
4. Tactical preparation
5. Fencing bout execution and analysis
6. Competitive mindset training
7. Applied drills for specific improvement areas

Semi-privates are tailored to the group’s needs and may emphasize any of the above areas, depending on the training goal. This format is ideal for accelerating progress and sharpening key skills for competition.

Participation is by coach recommendation only. Coaches carefully select students for each semi-private group to ensure balanced levels and maximum benefit. This exclusive structure has proven to deliver breakthrough results in fencing development.
